Caplendoria B.V. ("Caplendoria", "we") respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement explains what data we collect, for which purpose and for how long.
1. Data controller

2. What data we process
We process the data you provide when signing up for our newsletter: your name and email address. We also process limited technical data via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. Purpose and legal basis
Your data is used to send our weekly newsletter on ecology, renewable energy and agritechnology. The legal basis is your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Retention
We store your data for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of each newsletter; your data is then deleted within 30 days.
5. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data. For the technical delivery of email we work with a European email provider that is bound to the GDPR as a processor.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and transfer your data. You can exercise these rights via redactie@caplendoria.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption (HTTPS) and strict access control.
8. Changes
We may update this statement. Material changes will be announced on this page.
